Children eat snacks related to father's income and education?
If your child is addicted to junk food, it should not be blamed on mothers, it is related to the father's income and education. A new study shows.
This is the discovery of Nafis Faizi, a tutor at the Department of Community Medicine at Aligarh Islamic University.
In a research paper along with Arzi Adbi, a Singapore doctoral student, and Chirantan Chatterjee, an assistant professor of Indian business school, Hyderabad gave the latest answer on the cause of children's junk food addiction. .
According to authors, junk food is related to education and father's income. Rich and educated fathers are more likely to give children junk food.
The study countered the argument that new-generation mothers became lazy and therefore fed their children two-minute instant noodles and other additional snacks.
Faizi said that father elements play a big role in the current and future children's health.
The findings of his study suggest that the amount of junk food overdoses now decreases as maternal education increases but increases with the level of father's education. He added.
