The laptop market currently has no shortage of options for users with many prices and some standard configurations to suit the gentle use of most users. Unable to resist the neat design of Sony's newly launched CW notebook line and the incredible attraction of the Vaio logo, I bought a Sony VPCCW15FG right away. This article gives some reviews about this laptop after more than 1 month of use.

  14. Weight: 2.4kg (including the supplied battery)
Strength:
  1. There is a separate Display Off button to turn off the screen
  2. Chicklet keyboard protruding quite sensitive and for "feeling" when pressed
  3. All buttons are engraved with letters and numbers to get used to in the dark
  4. The neat design lines create a compact shape with a screen up to 14 ''
  5. Mouse drag allows zooming with fingers swiping to the sides
  6. Bright LED Backlit display even when sitting back up.
  7. The device only warms up a bit below when plugged in to use it all day, and cool all the way.
Weakness:
  1. Plastic shell easy to dust
  2. The design is quite simple
  3. Speaker clearly but not loud
  4. The keyboard doesn't have a light underneath like Apple's
  5. The width of the screen viewing angle has not improved much
  6. The table is slightly screeching, between the two mouse buttons there is an easy-to-penetrate slot
Design: All cutting strokes are focused on bringing neat and convenient for portable or holding the device when needing to fold. However, when viewed from the side, it feels a bit thick. Although there are two button feet near the battery holder to provide tilt for the machine to facilitate operation, but it is not possible to adjust the slanting machine to rely on the wrist completely without having to lean on the edge of the table. Compared to HP dv4 also has a 14 "screen, Vaio CW15FG is much more compact. The two hinges mounted on the screen with the body looking at it are quite fragile, if you accidentally close the screen, don't you know if it is broken?

The radiator fan on one side of the left is always cool when touching. Thang has yet to find out how the other radiators are arranged, but may be concentrated beneath the body thanks to the tilt from the two legs creating the gap when placing the machine on the table.

Screen: While switching from a 17 '' desktop to a 14 '' laptop, Sony's unique screen design doesn't confuse the right eye as the view is reduced. The screen is bright and has a resolution of 1336x768 thanks to a dedicated VGA chip. When pressing lightly on the edge or right into the screen, there is no ink blurring of the old generation. Easy to close dust into small circles.

Keyboard: Pretty good and not hissing of each key to help Thang comfortable surfing his fingers while writing this comment. However, there are only four separate function keys used to surf the web, turn off the screen, open the Vaio entertainment application, and turn the phone on and off. Quite uncomfortable when working in the dark because the keyboard does not have an LED light like Apple. There are three indicator lights for Caps Lock, private numeric keypad, and an unknown function. I think it would be great if I have more touch keys to turn on the speaker and turn off Wifi / Bluetooth on the HP dv4.

Mouse Desk: Create an initial impression of how you can zoom everything from images, web pages, icons to the desktop by swiping your finger, but gradually get forgotten because it makes it difficult to move, and two The left and right keys are quite hard. The gap between these two keys also makes the user unhappy when looking down because it feels like an open error when assembling.

Communication features: Quite diverse. There are 3 USB ports like most laptops on the market today. Optical drive with multiple read functions runs quite smoothly with the new disc, but when you try to test the old CD, make a loud noise even if it is still readable, and when you try the same CD through the old DVD drive at the desktop, it runs smoothly. . There are some unknown ports for what to do and somewhat redundant when used in Vietnam, as well as the adapter slot for the HG Duo memory card. The device also has Bluetooth 2.1 but tried the Sony X1 but it is not connected yet.

Graphics capabilities: Integrated graphics chip nVDIA 210M available 256Mb GDDR3 ram and can share up to 1G with ram of the machine. Playing Sims 3 game smoothly with all settings at a high level, although the image of surrounding trees is still not very good (not sure if it's due to the game's design). Opening the 720p HD action movie, the tension is sharp, but when it comes to skipping, it breaks the movie for a few seconds, probably because the program is playing the Jet Audio and VLC movies without decoding well. For some sample 1080p HD videos from Samsung, LG, and Sony, there is a visible jagged phenomenon when zoomed in full screen.

Batteries: Used to compose messages normally, the 6-cell battery of the device can hold for more than 2 hours, though many battery sales outlets can operate up to 4.5 hours. When fully charged, the machine automatically disconnects the battery and switches to electricity directly from the charger, helping to avoid battery bottles. The battery indicator light will flash red continuously when the battery is low, turning red when charging, and turning off the light when the battery is full.
