This laptop uses proprietary technology to convert standard 2D images into 3D.

Experts say the technology works similarly to Nintendo's 3DS game device, but the biggest difference is in larger sizes.

In addition, the pioneering laptop model also has a feature called "mixed mode," which includes a window displaying 2D images at the same time with another window displaying similar images in 3D.

Some little information was shared by ASUS about Republic of Gamers G53SX configuration including an Intel Core i7 CPU, Z68 motherboard and graphics chip GeForce 560M. And one of the most important factors is that this special laptop is a 3D display without the need for users to wear specialized glasses.

In addition, as its name suggests, Republic of Gamers G53SX is targeted by Asus for entertainment for gamers, as well as for movie enthusiasts.

Asus has not yet announced specific pricing and plans to release this attractive laptop model.
