Acer has officially launched its new Aspire 5738DG laptop that can display 3D movies and games at the same time Microsoft launches Windows 7 operating system.

It has a 15.6-inch 3D screen with special software and glasses that it calls TriDef so users can experience 3D images right on their laptops.

According to Acer, the TriDef system will display 3D content such as games and 3D movies but can still view 2D content and make them appear as 3D images. TriDef also sells software called TriDef 3-D Experience on its website. They will make applications like Google Earth display 3D images.

Furthermore, to make it more attractive for users to watch 3D movies, Acer has integrated Dolby sound reproduction on laptops. Besides, users can also run common applications such as spreadsheets and e-mail in 2D mode.

The Aspire 5738DG is equipped with an Intel Core 2 Duo T6600 processor, clocked at 2.2GHz, supporting up to 4GB of RAM and 329GB of hard drive storage. The product weighs 2.79 kg, integrating ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570 graphics capabilities with 512MB of video memory support as well as wireless Wi-Fi802.11b / g / n support. The product works on Microsoft's Windows 7 Home Premium OS operating system released on the market today.

The Aspire 5738DG will be sold in the US today for $ 780. However, Acer did not disclose when the product will be sold in the UK and other countries.
