5 'top' ultraportable laptops in Vietnam

These ultraportable machines affirm their class with a powerful configuration, compact design, power saving, but the "giant" price.

The ultraportable laptops are not widely distributed in Vietnam, most of them exist only in the domestic market by portable lines or through laptop entry units as required. In general, the device is equipped with power-saving CPU, supports multi-processor, powerful graphics and multiple connections. These products have an elegant design and a sturdy case for business people.

1. Lenovo ThinkPad X200

The fully inherited inheritance of the ThinkPad family's design, as the black case is covered with a strong magnesium alloy. The 12-inch screen provides clear display and support resolution equivalent to many current 14 and 15-inch laptops (1,280 x 800 pixels). Despite being an ultraportable, the X200 still has a keyboard comparable to a regular laptop. In return, the device does not have a touchpad and the optical drive also chooses users.

Devices equipped with microprocessors of the 2.4 GHz Centrino 2 P8600 platform save more power than Core 2 Duo CPUs with the same clock. The product is integrated with Intel GMA X4500 HD's most powerful onboard graphics chip today. The performance of the X200 is better than the X300, Toshiba rival Portedge R500, Apple MacBook Air.

Other components included are 2 GB RAM, SSD 64 GB static hard drive or a rotary hard drive of 160 GB 4-cell or 9-cell HDD.

Lenovo ThinkPad X200 is currently selling for about 23.5 million VND.

2. HP Voodoo Envy 133

It has an elegant body with a shiny exterior, a 13-inch, thin (1.7 cm) screen comparable to the MacBook Air. The camera corners are shaped quite square but still create a strange attraction, especially for business people.

The compact design makes the Envy 133 to eliminate many common connections such as VGA ports or optical drives but instead is an expander via HDMI and eSata / USB ports.

In addition, the device is attracted by the large keyboard and the trackpad has a rather fancy surface structure. Speakers on either side of the keyboard give an impressive sound quality.

The product is not only invested heavily in ultraportable design with 13.3-inch screen and youthful texture shell, but also especially because of its ability to radiate natural fragrance. The strength of Asus F6V is to support ATI Mobility HD VGA card HD 3470 256 MB for smooth running graphics applications.

Loudspeaker for sound is not perfect because there is a lot of bass, besides, there is no shortcut but must be controlled via software.

The device is equipped with a 2.26 GHz P8400 processor, which is powered by an energy-efficient Centrino 2 platform for longer battery life. Other components include: 3GB RAM, 250 GB HDD and 6 cell 4,800 mAh battery can operate continuously for about 3 hours.

4. Lenovo IdeaPad U110

Micro products with an 11-inch screen are of interest to many domestic consumers. It weighs only 1.13 kg and has two impressive red or black colors. The front is shaped by unique anti-scratch lines.

The special machine by the frameless screen structure creates a more attractive attraction for an ultraportable product. Despite its compact body, the U110 still fully supports universal connections.

The main components of the machine include L7500 CPU, 3GB RAM, 120 GB HDD, Intel onboard VGA GM31 X3100.

The machine is currently sold for about 2,059 USD.

5. Sony Vaio VGN-Z591U / B

The body is made of carbon fiber to provide durability and light weight of only 1.57 kg. The thin but solid design of the machine creates the appeal for this business model. Square keyboard and wide spacing similar to MacBook.

Z591U / B fully supports universal connections plus HDMI for high-speed audio and video signals.

The product supports two graphics systems: onboard 4500 HD chip and discrete graphics Nvidia Geforce 9300 GS. It allows to turn off VGA card when power saving is needed.
