5 netbooks have high definition screens

Netbook configurations on the market today are often similar, so manufacturers are looking to reduce prices or increase battery life and screen resolution to compete .

With only about 300 USD, consumers can own a laptop with 1.6 GHz Atom chip, 1 GB RAM, Windows XP operating system and 160 GB hard drive. One of the reasons for their willingness to pay for a higher-priced system is the screen resolution.

Instead of the popular 1,024 x 600 pixel specs, some 10.1 - 11.6 inch netbooks now have a sharpness of 1,366 x 768 pixels, supporting 720p HD video playback (though it depends on many other factors).

11-inch Gateway LT3103u uses 1.2 GHz AMD L110 processor but works faster than Intel Atom computer, 2 GB RAM, 250 USD hard drive and Windows Vista Basic operating system and costs only 379 USD. The drawback of the product is its low battery life and no Bluetooth.

Sony Vaio W 10 inch attracted attention because of the famous Vaio fashion brand. Priced at $ 500, Sony hopes the beautiful design, multicolored casing and high-definition screen will help the W series to be classified as 'premium netbooks'.

The 11.6-inch Asus Eee PC 1101HA incorporates an Atom Z520 chip in place of the popular version and has a higher speed than the Z270, so it runs quite slowly. Although the chip is capable of overclocking, long battery life, eye-catching design and fully equipped with connection ports, the price of 440 USD is still considered quite expensive.

The Dell Inspiron Mini 10 is equipped with an HDMI port, the configuration is easy to upgrade as it can complement high-resolution screens and mobile connectivity. The product supports up to 6 hours of continuous video playback with a 6 cell battery - an impressive number for a laptop. However, the Mini 10 was dubbed 'netbook with notebook prices' (540 USD).

The Acer Aspire One AO751h has an 11.6-inch screen, a large keyboard, but is only equipped with the slow-speed Z520 (1.33 GHz) chip. Product price is 350 USD.
