The device still retains the beautiful and luxurious design as shown in the black and red models previously released. It is a combination of magnesium alloy with a plastic material that creates rigidity for the chassis, while the aluminum border is shiny and the leather cover is noble.
However, the white Dell Studio XPS will cost $ 40 more than the original price. This amount is enough to upgrade an additional 1 GB RAM.
Currently both 13-inch and 16-inch Studio XPS are priced at 999 USD (according to Dell's website) for basic configuration including Intel Core 2 Duo 2 GHz processor, 3 GB RAM, 250 GB HDD, card Integrated graphics GeForce 9400M (Studio XPS 13) and removable Mobility Radeon HD 3670 card (Studio XPS 13).
