Xiaomi 16 will be a big challenger to Apple's iPhone.
According to famous information leaker Digital Chat Station on social network Weibo, these two high-end phone models can create a challenge, even a big shock for Apple thanks to an important detail: screen borders with a smaller size than the iPhone.
The latest report shows that both the Xiaomi 16 Pro and Xiaomi 16 Ultra are equipped with a 6.85-inch LTPO OLED screen with 2K resolution, along with a symmetrical edge design that is thinner than Apple products.
If Xiaomi sticks to its usual launch schedule, the Xiaomi 16 and Xiaomi 16 Pro will be announced in China next October. Meanwhile, the global version of the Xiaomi 16 (including the Ultra) is expected to launch next year.
It is no surprise that all Xiaomi 16 members will be equipped with Qualcomm's top-of-the-line processor, specifically the successor to the current high-end Snapdragon 8 Elite. In particular, the Xiaomi 16 Ultra promises to bring impressive photography experiences, similar to what users are expecting from the upcoming Xiaomi 15 Ultra.

Talking about the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, the most prominent feature of this product's design is the two-tone back, with a combination of glass and leather. Specifically, the white part is made of glass, while the rest is leather, creating a luxurious and sophisticated look, reminiscent of the iconic design of Leica cameras.
The circular camera module on the back is also a notable highlight as the design on this product seems larger than the previous version, with the arrangement of three cameras horizontally and requiring more space. Specifically, the device is equipped with a 50 MP main camera with a 1-inch sensor, a 200 MP periscope sensor and two 50 MP sensors for wide angle and telephoto.
On the front, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra has a screen with thinner bezels and a small gap in the middle for the front camera. The screen edges are flat, but still have a slight curve to create a comfortable feeling when holding. This product will be equipped with a powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, accompanied by a 6,000 mAh battery that supports 90W fast charging via wire and 50W wireless.
