Apple MacBook Pro (Core 2 Duo processor 2.26 GHz, 2GB, 13.3 inch TFT)

The MacBook Pro has an unmistakable design from solid and class aluminum. In addition, this model has an additional SD card slot, a handy FireWire port with a large and very sensitive multitouch touchpad. However, this laptop still has inherent drawbacks such as an irreplaceable battery, no lumpy screen options and a discrete graphics card in the 13-inch version.

The MacBook Pro 13.3 inch with the above configuration is currently sold in Vietnam for about 24 million VND.

Fujitsu LifeBook SH760 (Core i7-620M Processor 2.0 GHz, 4GB RAM)

This is one of the mainstream models of LifeBooks from Japanese computer manufacturers, Fujitsu. This model owns 13.3-inch LED backlight screen with resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and "terrible" hardware power comes from Intel Core i7-620M processor with speed of 2.0 GHz, memory 4GB RAM, 500GB hard drive and discrete Nvidia GeForce 310M graphics card with 512 MB VRAM.

The device is still integrated DVD, weighs only 1.6 kg but unfortunately to 3.2 cm thick.

This model is currently not sold in Vietnam.

Sony Vaio VPC-Z116GG / B (2.4 GHz Core i5 520M Processor, 6GB RAM)

Vaio Z series is the most "class" laptop of Sony with a compact shape but possesses a very "super" configuration. Vaio Z series has a lot of advantages such as solid design, upgrading of large-capacity SSD hard drive, the ability to convert discrete graphics cards to high-performance machines.

Vaio VPC-Z116GG / B model is one of the latest models with hardware power including Core i5 520M processor with 2.4 GHz speed, 6GB RAM, 128 GB SSD hard drive, Nvidia GeForce 330M discrete graphics card with 1GB VRAM.

However, coupled with it is a very expensive price only towards a small number of qualified users. In addition, the automatic conversion of graphics cards is sometimes confusing.

Sony Vaio VPC-Z116GG / B is sold in Vietnam for about VND 46 million.

Samsung R470 (Core 2 Duo T6500 processor 2.16 GHz, 2GB RAM)

Although there is no outstanding hardware, this is one of the most attractive mid-range laptops. Samsung R470 owns LED backlight screen, features USB charging even when the phone is turned off and a waterproof keyboard.

However, Samsung R470 still has some disadvantages such as no separate multimedia control keys, no SD card slot, ExpressCard / 34.

Samsung R470 is not currently available in Vietnam.

Toshiba Portege M900 (Core 2 Duo P8700 Processor 2.53 GHz, 4GB RAM)

Toshiba's products feature many features such as face detection, fingerprint recognition, multi-touch touchpad, USB port charging even when the device is turned off. The Portege M900 also has an Ati Mobility Radeon HD4570 discrete graphics card with 512 MB VRAM, 4GB of RAM and a hard drive of up to 320 GB.

Even so, the Toshiba Portege M900 is a bit too heavy for a 13.3-inch (2.23 kg) screen laptop, with a short battery life.

The model with the above configuration is currently sold in Vietnam for about 25 million VND.
