1. Monopoly
Monopoly (or in Vietnam is a billionaire flag) is the king of the classic board games. This game has been created since 1903, originally as a way to explain the decline of the economy when manufacturers monopolized the retail market. Gradually, it became a popular game, so far has sold more than 250 million sets of games. The main goal of this game is to make your opponent bankrupt.
Everything that can be played on the real version is available on the electronic version, including celebrities, banks and property auctions.
There will be 3 levels of different levels and the rules can be adjusted to match the rules on the regular version. The application also supports multiplayer mode, but all your friends must install it.
In addition to the Monopoly application, users can install the free billionaire app on Android and iOS devices, but the rules will be slightly different from the classic paper version.
2. Connect 4
Seven columns of six rows and requires you to connect 4 consecutive dots vertically, horizontally and diagonally. Sounds simple right? This is actually a surprisingly complex game - there are 4 trillion ways to fill a board and 2 trillion ways to connect 4 dots at a time.
There is currently no official version from game manufacturers on Android and iOS, but you can choose similar apps from other developers. The best rated version on Android is Four in a Row. You can play 2D or 3D board, there are 10 levels of difficulty. On iOS we have the Connect 4 app, which has 3 levels of difficulty and supports multiple players.
3. The Game of Life
In fact, The Game of Life appeared before Monopoly. The first version of the game was designed in 1860, and the modern version was released in 1960, when the first version was 100 years old.
The game takes players on a journey from college graduation to retirement, with major life events such as work, marriage, children or home buying and selling. The winner is the one with the most money at the end of the game.
The official version of the game is available on Android and iOS. Features include playing with friends, tokens, 3D frames and a log to keep track of your journey.
4. Scrabble
Again a classic boardgame but also developed by EA. Although 'Words with Friends' has become very popular, it does not give you the feeling of recalling the past as much as playing Scrabble.
Scrabble first debuted in 1930 and immediately became famous as a game of intelligence. The main goal is for the player to match the given letters to meaningful words. The more complex words are, the more players there are.
The app version of the game is available on Android and iOS. In the game also includes a dictionary to help you earn points easier, teacher mode will show you which words to use each time, the feature to challenge friends via Facebook or quick play mode.
5. Ludo (aka Parcheesi)
Ludo is inspired by Indian game from the 6th century, called 'Pachisi', first launched in 1896.
The game can play up to 4 people, the main goal is to bring all four of his characters to the middle barn (quite like a seahorse flag).
The best Ludo player app, Ludo King is now available for Android and iOS. The game has a multiplayer mode, offline play and a lot of different themes. Other games like Ludo King include Ludo Club and Ludo Online.
6. Snakes and Ladders (aka Chutes and Ladders)
Like Ludo, this game is originally from India. The whole world knows this game is called Snakes and Ladders, but in America, the snake has been replaced by a sledge because the image of the snake has no good effect on children.
However, no matter what it is called, this is still an extremely classic game. You will have a square of 100 numbers, moving your character 100 numbers faster than everyone else you won. However, the obstacles in the game are the snakes (or sleds) and ladders.
The game is currently available on Android and iOS. Features include multiplayer, offline play and 'Survival Mode' for more dramatic gameplay.
7. Backgammon
Backgammon is one of the oldest boardgames in the world. It has a lifespan of more than 5000 years.
The main purpose of the game is to remove all your pieces from the board before the opponent, thanks to tactics and a little luck. The game board is rectangular, this is the best frame when playing on iPad.
There are many versions of this game on Android and iOS, you can choose the best rated version to play offline.
8. Risk
Risk is a great game, but the biggest annoyance when playing outside is the number of pieces on the board. If there are too many players, it is easy to accidentally push the pieces to other territories, especially in the early stages of the game.
However, the mobile version of the game has overcome such problems. The chess pieces are set aside, the game is recreated very faithfully. The game includes different game modes, custom rules, in-depth tutorials, and game statistics. You will also find lots of settings like new maps or scripts.
Currently Risk is available on Android and iOS.
