According to The Information, the ultra-thin iPhone may be launched in 2025 as an addition to the iPhone 17 series. This "super product" has the internal code name D23, which could be a landmark design like the iPhone. X in 2017.

Along with the Face ID facial scanner, OLED screen and glass back, the D23 is expected to have a thinner chassis and a smaller Dynamic Island cutout on the screen. Previously, there were rumors that Apple would replace the Dynamic Island area with a "punched" detail - expected on the iPhone 16 line.

Other changes will include: the rear camera will move from the top left corner to the top center of the back; The screen will be somewhere between 6.12 - 6.69 inches.

iPhone 15 Pro series.

There is no information about the thinness of the new ultra-thin iPhone. Currently, the thinnest iPhone today is the iPhone SE 3 with a thickness of 0.29 inches. Meanwhile, the iPhone 15 is 0.31 inches thick.

Even if the ultra-thin iPhone with code D23 is added to the iPhone 17 line, this does not mean that Apple will expand to 5 models for the 2025 iPhone line. Instead, the iPhone 17 Plus may be eliminated.

Other recent rumors say that the iPhone 16 Plus will still be launched, continuing to have a 6.7-inch screen while the iPhone 16 Pro screen will increase in size to 6.3 inches. Another rumor says that the iPhone 16 Pro Max screen will increase in size to 6.9 inches.
