The official PWA for Google Drive app appears on Windows 10

Starting January 23, Google Drive users on Windows 10 can install the PWA version of this service on the system, allowing access to all files and documents faster and easier than the use of web-based platforms as usual. Besides the aforementioned improvement, Google Drive PWA in fact does not have much difference compared to other common applications. When the application is successfully installed, it will launch in a new window and allow you quick access to all files that are stored.
To install the PWA version of Google Drive on Windows 10, do the following:
- Open Google Drive in a Chrome tab.
- Once in Drive, click the + icon in the right corner of the address bar, next to the star bookmark icon.
- A pop up appears asking if you want to install the Drive app, select Install / Install.
- A new Drive app window appears, just like the current Drive web version, and a shortcut is also added to the desktop.
The application is also available for Android now, which can be activated by accessing Drive, navigating to the q menu and selecting 'Add to Homescreen'.
