According to Engadget , NEC is about to unveil a 13.3-inch ultrabook model weighing only 999g. This product is named LaVie Z and can be launched this summer.
LaVie Z is advertised as using an aluminum-lithium frame that is 50% lighter than conventional aluminum used on other computer models. According to PC Watch , this is one of the lightest ultrabook models in the world.
