N550JV belongs to the newly launched high-end N-series laptop from Asus. Instead of following the slim and light trend, the Taiwanese manufacturer focuses on configuration and entertainment-related equipment that are typically sound.

The 4-speaker system with SonicMaster Premium audio technology co-developed with Bang & Olufsen reputable loudspeaker is a special highlight on the product. Among these are an SonicMaster subwoofer to enhance bass quality and deep bass. It also comes with preinstalled professional audio tweaking software MaxxAudio and Asus AudioWizard.

Configuration of the product is very strong with Intel Core i7-4700HQ processor, GeForce GT750M graphics card with 2 GB VRAM capacity, dual 16 GB RAM memory and 750 GB high-speed 750 GB hard drive.

The device is equipped with 4,000 mAh capacity battery with Asus Super Hybrid Engine II technology which allows to re-open from the standby mode for 2 seconds, maintain sleep state for 2 weeks and automatically back up data when the battery is below 5%.
