Tests show that the Galaxy S20 + and Galaxy S20 Ultra are more durable than Galaxy S20
Interestingly, the lowest Galaxy S20 model is not as durable as the two higher-end versions.
Recently SquareTrade, a company that sells extended warranty packages for smartphones, had the opportunity to test the durability of the Galaxy S20 trio and discovered quite a few surprises about the durability of each device.
Interestingly, the lowest Galaxy S20 model is not as durable as the two higher-end versions. Why do you say that because all three Galaxy S10 models of last year recorded the same durability. So what causes that difference?
Accordingly, all three smartphone models undergo a number of extremely tough endurance tests.
On the first drop, the Galaxy S20 completely broke the screen when dropped from a height of 1.8 meters. The back of the machine is not better. The Galaxy S20 is one of the only smartphones that has problems. Even then with the bend challenge, the machine also produced quite bad results. The only test that this machine did well was probably soaked in water.
Interestingly, the Galaxy S20 Ultra model can withstand heavy water pressure and bend and still function normally without any damage, even if the device can be used immediately after landing on the front.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy S20 + model is basically the same as the Galaxy S20 Ultra model. However, this model is more prone to bending than the high-end version and more prone to breaking the screen when landing on the front.
If there is a common point between all three models, it is that all three are difficult to fix and costly. Below is a table showing which machine is more at risk of failure (the higher the score, the more likely it is to fail).
