Surface Neo, a unique dual-screen device from Microsoft, runs Windows 10X
On October 2, at the launch of its new product, Microsoft announced a dual-screen tablet laptop called Surface Neo, making the Courier project more than 10 years ago a reality. Surface Neo is a unique dual-screen device that can be used as a traditional laptop, a tablet or an e-book.
Joe Belfiore, director of Windows experience, said that Surface Neo is a product for Microsoft and its partners to close the gap between laptop and tablet products, bringing new experiences. for users.
Surface Neo runs Windows 10X operating system separately so it can be considered as a tablet or also a laptop. Depending on how the user uses the Surface Neo's hinge folding mechanism, it may have many different uses.
The Surface Neo only measures 9 inches when fully folded, in full screen mode is 13 inches.
The two monitors of the Surface Neo are 'mounted' together with a durable hinge with a flexible 360-degree folding mechanism.
The attached Bluetooth keyboard has a magnet on the back that allows users to flip it in and out, turning the Surface Neo into a traditional laptop anytime. This Bluetooth keyboard is smaller than the Surface Neo's screen, so when placed above a screen, the redundant area automatically displays the same features as the MacBook Pro's Touch Bar.
Joe Belfiore said the new dual-screen devices support many different modes of use, not just a traditional laptop or a tablet.
Surface Neo with support of Windows 10X, can be used in many different modes such as laptop mode, tablet mode, reading mode, erect like a "hut" . Surface Neo can run multiple applications at the same time.
The Surface Neo will come with an Intel Lakefield custom chip with an 11th-generation graphics GPU, while other details about the hardware have not been revealed.
Currently, the Surface Neo is just a prototype, still not complete. It was not until the following fall that Microsoft officially launched the Surface Neo.
