Sony Vaio C, E series to Core i 2011, adding new colors
Sony Vaio E owns the option of Core i3, second generation i5 while the Vaio C series raises the choice of colors to 7.
With this upgrade, the Vaio E series is Sony's last model to join Sandy Bridge's "big family" this year. All models including 14-inch, 15.5-inch and 17.3-inch models have Intel Core i3 or i5 second-generation processors. In addition, 15.5-inch model alone will have the option of AMD Fusion processor.
The E series with a slight change in design with wavy lines will sell in 4 colors: green, pink, white and black. The 17.3-inch screen model will have only two options: white and black.
Meanwhile, Sony Vaio C series introduced two new colors are red and blue. Currently the model has options that are different colors are orange, green, pink, black and white. The Vaio C series has no configuration changes. This model sold in Vietnam (with 5 previous colors) costs 24 million for a Core i5 chip and 28 million for a Core i7 chip. Particularly, the 17-inch screen version still has only one color option.
Users can order these new models on June 19 here in the US market.
