The first thing you'll notice is the new application dock at the bottom of the screen. It looks very similar to the dock on the Mac. You can store all your favorite apps here. Apps on the right on the dock change based on what Siri thinks you will want to use next. But it seems that the feature is not appreciated because it usually does not suggest a user application to use.

You can access the dock in any application by swiping up from the bottom of the screen. This makes it easier to switch between your favorite applications.

IOS 11 will definitely be an important update. With the beta version, users can do more on the iPad than before, and the goal of becoming an alternative to a laptop is quite feasible. IOS 11 will also be great for other iPad models like the new 9.7-inch version, even if you can't use Apple's keyboard or pen accessories.

Overall, iOS 11 is a sign that Apple has not abandoned the iPad, despite difficulties in finding a position for it for years when sales declined. IPad hardware continues to become better and better, so it's great to see iOS start catching up.
