Samsung launches two new backup batteries and car chargers, supporting 'superfast' quick charging
One of the most anticipated events for Samfan in particular and technology lovers around the world in general: Galaxy Unpacked 2020, officially took place at dawn on February 12 (Vietnam time) ), with the presence of many new technology products from Korean manufacturer Samsung.
In addition to the stars of the event such as the Galaxy S series flagship, Galaxy Z Flip, or Galaxy Buds + wireless headphones, this year's Unpacked Galaxy also has the appearance of many accessories. Remarkably, including two 10,000mAh backup battery models and a brand new car charger, all of which support fast charging.
Specifically, the first backup battery model, called 25W Wireless Portable Battery, is equipped with 2 USB Type-C ports and supports 25W fast charging via USB Type-C Power Delivery (USB-C PD). In addition, the product also supports Qi wireless charging, up to 8.5W.
The second backup battery model, called 25W Portable Battery, is equipped with one USB Type-A port and one USB Type-C port. All basic specifications are similar to the first product, however this variant will not support wireless charging.
In addition, both of these power banks will only support a single 25W output power. That is, if you use a spare battery to charge 2 devices at the same time, only 1 device will receive 25W power.
The third - and perhaps most interesting - product is the 45W car charger. True to the name 45W Dual Car Charger, this car charger comes with one USB Type-A port and one USB Type-C port. The Type-A port supports 15W fast charging, while the Type-C port can charge the Note10 + or S20 Ultra at 45W. Accessories include a USB Type-C to Type-C 5A cable that supports 45W output power.
Currently Samsung has just announced the price for the 25W Wireless Portable Battery model: $ 79.99. Expected prices of all products that have appeared on the Galaxy Unpacked stage 2020 will be announced simultaneously when the Galaxy S20 officially hit shelves on March 6.
