Samsung Galaxy S20 encountered a selfie camera error, photos may be blurred and not clear

After a few weeks of experience with the Galaxy S20 Ultra, Galaxy S20 and S20 Plus, PhoneArena confirmed that all three of Samsung's latest flagship smartphones have selfie camera errors.

According to PhoneArena, the selfie cameras of all three Galaxy S20s can randomly cause blurry and unclear images. PhoneArena has tested in a variety of conditions, and made sure that the selfie camera lens is completely clean.

Here are a few defective photos taken with Galaxy S20 Ultra, Galaxy S20 and S20 Plus selfie cameras:

In the two photos above, you can see the face of Victor Hristov (editor of PhoneArena) very clearly in the image without error. However, when taking the second picture, Victor changed the position a bit, and could see a part of his face blurred, especially the left half. It seems that the light background has had a bit of impact in this case.

Another PhoneArena editor, Peter, had a similar situation. As can be seen when the error, the Galaxy S20's selfie camera zoomed closer to Peter's face, which caused the focus to go wrong and resulted in the entire face being blurred.

PhoneArena contends that these errors appear randomly, but are more likely to occur when the background is brightly lit. In addition, PhoneArena tried several ways to fix it, such as turning off beauty mode, turning off HDR options, but none of them worked.

Samsung has yet to comment on this selfie camera error. However, before that, Samsung has pledged to release a fix for the Galaxy S20, maybe this is also one of the errors on Samsung's list.
