Real video of Pixel 4 control without touching
The leaked video only lasted 6 seconds, but it was enough to show that users can control the Spotify music player on Pixel 4, Google's unreleased phone, manually without touching the screen. The owner of the phone can flick left to switch to play the next song. The hand waving is quite gentle, natural and fast response speed.
According to Phonearena, this new feature on Pixel 4 is called Motion Sense. The front camera of Pixel 4 is equipped with a separate sensor system controlled by a chip called Soli. This sensor system has a mechanism similar to a military radar detecting foreign objects or aircraft in the sky.
Previously leaked information shows that Soli is pink with the size of a nail tip. It can quickly detect even the smallest movements.
Google has previously registered this chip, but because it coincides with the commercial 57-64 GHz radar band, it was rejected by the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC). After that, in order for Soli to be allowed to circulate, Google had to edit and omit some FCC requirements on this chip. Soli is allowed to circulate after December 31, 2018.
By placing Soli on the front of the device, Pixel 4 will have a thicker tablet and no longer "rabbit ears".
Pixel 4 will be equipped with a 5.7-inch OLED screen (1,080 x 2,280 pixels)
The duo Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL will be released today (October 15). According to the event invitation, the Pixel 4 has a 5.7-inch OLED screen (1,080 x 2,280 pixels), while the Pixel 4XL is equipped with a 6.3-inch screen (1,440 x 3,040 pixels). Both are equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chip, 6GB RAM, 128 / 256GB memory.
The dual camera on the Pixel 4 has a resolution of 12 megapixels and 16 megapixels, including one with optical zoom. The Pixel 4 XL camera cluster will have three lenses, two of which have the same specifications as the Pixel 4, the other one that supports shooting with a wider color range.
