Python moves forward in the ranking of popular programming languages
Python continues to show its growth as it ranks third on Tiobe's popular programming languages rankings, and also ranks first on the IEEE and PyPL rankings.
Python is the choice of many developers in the field of data science and machine learning, threatening C + 3's position.If it passes C ++, it will first enter the top 3. Tiobe not only expects this to happen but also believes that Python can occupy the first place that has been owned by Java for years.
This is Tiobe's August ranking:
Language Name Java Rating 16.881% C 14.966% C ++ 7.471% Python 6.992% Visual Basic.Net 4.762% C # 3.541% PHP 2.925% JavaScript 2.411% SQL 2.316% Assembly 1.409%PyPL and IEEE's recent rankings have been dominated by Python.PyPL ranks rankings from the popularity of the language guides that are searched on Google.IEEE ranks based on a number of specific contexts such as the level of social networking, open source products and related career postings.Tiobe said that their ranking is based on the number of skilled engineers worldwide, third-party courses and suppliers, including search engines such as Google, Bing, Yahoo !, YouTube and Baidu.
