Airplanes with inflated wings

On April 25, 2001, NASA experimented with aircraft using an inflatable impeller technology.

The wings of the aircraft are inflated with nitrogen oxide gas. Later, the experimental aircraft was dropped from a mother ship at an altitude of 245 - 305 meters and landed safely safely.

"Multiple legs" go on the Moon

Glider launched from a helicopter

Hyper III is NASA's wingless model, using the fuselage to increase aerodynamic capabilities, its wings are very small and do not have an important role in flight.

The video records the process of testing the release of Hyper III from a NASA-controlled SH-3 helicopter in December 1969.
