Marvel at how Vietnamese people choose passwords
When analyzing the recent data package of 160 million VNG accounts (of which there are nearly 34 million risk-free accounts), the network security expert in Vietnam was surprised to see the password. but Vietnamese people use it very simply, can easily break immediately.
Based on the results of this leaked data analysis, a senior moderator of the WhiteHat network security forum recently posted information on how Vietnamese people choose passwords. Between Saturday and Sunday afternoon, this person proceeded to unlock nearly 34 million accounts and found more than 99% of passwords. After statistics, the moderator saw that, with 34 million accounts, there were more than 12 million passwords because many people chose the same password.
But it is worth noting that most of these passwords are popular, easy-to-guess passwords that can easily be broken.
