Phantom Blade Zero Weapon and Phantom Edge Location Checklist

Find the broad regions for main weapons and Phantom Edges, understand tempering forms and use field abilities to revisit blocked routes.

Table of Contents

Phantom Blade Zero separates main Weapons, used for your regular attack sequences, from Phantom Edges, secondary equipment with special combat or field functions. A Phantom Edge is not simply another name for a weapon skill.

Use the tables below as a regional checklist, then confirm the exact encounter, quest requirement and item description in your game. They are not a damage ranking. Displayed stats depend on progression and equipment, so comparing unexplained numbers from different upgrade levels is misleading.

Main weapon checklist

The location column gives a broad region, not a guarantee that the item is available on your first visit. Some rewards require optional encounters or progression. Ending-related equipment, including Aureate, involves spoilers.

Tempering changes the Sanguine family

Some weapon names appear through tempering rather than as an ordinary pickup. Sanguine becomes Infernal Rouge, Sanguine Reach becomes Blazing Edge, and Sanguine Twin becomes Shadowless Edge. Read the tempering preview before committing materials so you understand the resulting form.

These secondary tools can provide ranged attacks, support or specialized field actions. Check the item description for resource costs and field use. The broad categories below describe their roles; they do not imply that every item within a category behaves the same way.

Use field abilities to revisit blocked routes

When a route is blocked, inspect the obstacle and your acquired equipment rather than assuming every barrier is opened by an attack. Examples include chains, fire, vines and marked stone barriers. A later reward may give you a reason to return to an earlier area.

Heartrend Pipa and the repaired Illusory Pipa are related progression entries, so do not treat them as two unrelated instruments when checking your collection. Follow the relevant quest and current item description.

How to use the lists without wasting time

  1. Choose the goal. Decide whether you need a combat style, a collection entry or a field ability.
  2. Check progression. Read your active quests and confirm that the route or encounter is available.
  3. Compare similar upgrades. Judge damage and guard-breaking at comparable development levels, not by numbers copied from different builds.
  4. Test before investing. Learn the weapon's basic sequence, resource use and recovery after an attack.
  5. Keep a route note. Record an obstacle you cannot yet pass and return when a new field ability matches it.

For detailed acquisition steps, compare the Phantom Edge location guide and quest and field-unlock reference. Confirm names and requirements against your current game version.
