LG introduced a new series of devices running Windows 8
LG recently revealed that it will introduce some of their Windows 8 devices at the 2014 CES Fair which will take place next week. LG's new products will include Tab-Book 2, an 11.6-inch screen laptop with a sliding keyboard, 13Z940 ultra-thin laptop PC, and a 27-inch AiO machine.
LG recently revealed that it will introduce some of their Windows 8 devices at the 2014 CES Fair which will take place next week. LG's new products will include Tab-Book 2, an 11.6-inch screen laptop with a sliding keyboard, 13Z940 "ultra PC" laptop, and a 27-inch AiO machine.
2 laptop models are upgrades for products that LG has previously introduced. The 13Z940 will have a 13 inch screen weighing only 980 grams, 13.6 mm thick, 4.4 mm thin border. Machine will be equipped with configuration Haswell Core i5, 128 GB SSD or 256 GB. The new 2 Tab-Book 2 are also improved to be lighter and thinner. The high-end model 11T740 will have a thickness of 16.7 mm and weigh 1.05 kg (the old model is 19.4 mm thin and weighs 1.23 kg ).
On AiO, LG said it will be able to switch between PC and TV functions without having to reboot the system. Picture-in-picture ( PiP ) feature helps both browse and watch TV simultaneously. The machine uses the Core chip but it is unclear what model. We will have to wait until CES 2014 when LG officially introduces the product to know more details.
