LG has set a record for the world's largest outdoor billboard, used in the promotional campaign for the LG G3 phone.
Like most phone makers, LG is well aware of the importance of advertising for market dominance. Therefore, LG created a huge billboard to promote the LG G3 phone in Riyadh (the capital of Saudi Arabia), next to King Khalid International Airport with a length of 240m, height of 12m.
To create this record billboard, people had to use up to 1800 tons of steel. With a relatively favorable ad placement, the billboard will be seen by 20 million people every year while traveling through King Khalid International Airport and LG predicts this will bring them another 25 million. USD revenue per year.
With its size, this billboard has been certified by Guinness World Records as " the largest outdoor billboard ". After the campaign for LG G3, huge billboards will continue to be used by LG for other future products.
