On April 28, HP launched a line of low-cost ProBook laptops for businesses. The ProBook laptop is a combination of business and user features such as high definition graphics (HD) and Blu-ray drive .

The HP ProBook series offers users two choices of Intel and AMD chips, with 14-inch, 15.6-inch and 17.3-inch screen sizes (widescreen and 16: 9 formats). The new laptop has two operating system options: Windows Vista and SuSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 11 (the latest Linux version of Novell).

The HP ProBook series is also equipped with many business features such as HP SpareKey - allowing users to answer 3 personal questions in case of a forgotten password; One-touch access button for e-mail, calendar, and contact book; File Sanitizer utility to permanently delete files, folders and personal information from the hard drive.

The starting price of the ProBook series is only $ 529.
