New business laptop series from HP

Both EliteBook and 4 ProBook versions have been introduced by HP to business users, using the latest Core i3 / i5 / i7 processors .

After the success of ultraportable machines with the well-known super-durable scratched-alloy case of 2530p and 2730p, HP continues to introduce the 2540p, 2740p upgrade with more optimized options and hardware.

The EliteBook 2540p still has a durable magnesium alloy case that meets the MIL-STD 810G standard (US military's durability standard) and weighs about 1.7kg. In addition to the Core i5 and i7 processors, the 2540p will also have other options such as a traditional 7,200 rpm high-speed drive and SSD solid-state drives. The EliteBook 2540p is sold at a starting price of $ 1,099.

Meanwhile, the EliteBook 2740p is more noticeable thanks to a 12.1-inch capacitive touchscreen that supports both pen and finger (unlike the previous version that supports only the pen) and can flip. This model can be considered as the true competitor of ThinkPad X201t because this product is still slim and lighter (only 1.7 kg). The EliteBook 2740p will also have hardware options similar to the 2540p and will sell for about $ 1,599.

Both models will be officially launched by HP in March.

In addition, HP also introduced the ProBook line with many improvements compared to the S series. The new models are available with a lot of screen sizes of 13.3 inches, 14 inches, 15.6 inches and 17.3 inches, along with Intel's Core i series processors including i3, i5 and i7.

New generation ProBook has a variety of configurations to choose from for each purpose. With 900 USD, users will own the ProBook 4520s model with 15.6-inch screen size, Intel Core i5 processor, 500GB hard drive with a speed of 7,200 rpm. For those who need more graphics, HP also has the option of ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5350 GPU graphics card.

The introduced models also create the initial impression good with chiclet keyboard when feeling comfortable and easy to manipulate for users. But what the ClickPad with the Touchpad directly integrates with the touchpad, like the Envy series, is not really perfect in these models.

The new ProBook is sold in gray, Bordeaux red and is officially ordered by HP in the next few weeks.
