How to shoot strange underwater portraits without getting a hair wet
Underwater photography is a very 'difficult' subject of photography, requiring elaborate preparation. Players will have to buy a waterproof case for the camera, and both the photographer and the sample will have to soak underwater for hours to get the picture like that, how troublesome! But there is another way, which helps us to take equally unique photos, not having to soak in the water and also not spend too much money.
A detailed video of 'underwater' photography techniques
What do we need?
- A large acrylic sheet
- Long slats
- Wooden screws
- Waterproof tape
- Waterproof glue
All of the above equipment was shared by the person who shared the procedure, Mr. Raj Khepar, for less than $ 60 (1.4 million VND), much cheaper than the purchase of specialized equipment, and the cost of finding a swimming pool. to take a photo.
We will attach the sticks to a real shape, then attach a piece of Acrylic plastic on one side with tape and waterproof glue. The tape will take about 24 hours to solidify, so be sure to make one day before shooting for sure.
Pour a small amount of water into the box we just made, pay attention to a little water because if you pour a lot of plastic Acrylic layer will probably break. Place this product on a table or chair, but the plastic can still reflect down. When shooting, 'flap' your hands into the water layer we can create a wave effect on the model below.
You can also use an extra flash, which makes the lighting more direct, adding a layer of blue gel to make the image more realistic. Of course, models also have to wear swimsuits, because no one goes into the water to wear T-shirts or jeans! In addition, thanks to the model lifting the person off the floor, creating a 'floating' effect, making the photo more vivid.
If you are still not satisfied with the result, you can search for sand to dump on the floor, faking the sand at the bottom of the sea. But if you have a high level of editing, you absolutely can add sand or even fish and shrimp in post-production!
