How to reset Instagram algorithm

If you're ready to reset the Instagram algorithm, follow these simple steps:

Open the Instagram app and tap your profile picture in the bottom right corner. Tap the 3-line menu in the top right corner. Scroll to What you see and tap Content Preferences .

Or, just click the three dots on the suggested post and select Manage content preferences . Then, select Reset Suggested Content .

In the new prompt, select Next .

Now, review who you follow by clicking All accounts you follow or Ad topics . Then, click Reset suggested content to start over.

Note : Once reset, you won't be able to go back. So be prepared for a completely new experience with generic content that Instagram deems safe.
