How to change WinX menu on Windows 10
The WinX menu is one of the familiar functions for Windows 10 users, helping you easily access system applications. And if you don't know, we can change this menu for our own convenience.

You can enable this menu by pressing Windows + X or right-clicking the Windows button on the taskbar. You can easily see here that there are a number of pre-configured applications and control panels in the menu, divided into three groups.
These groups are divided by lines between them.
This is to create convenience for users so that each component in the group can be identified as belonging to a different component.
The groups are numbered from 1 to 3, in order from bottom to top, as shown in the image below:

How to remove applications and utilities from the WinX menu
Now that you know the groups of the WinX menu, let's start removing unnecessary items from it.
Step 1: Open File Explorer and paste the link below into the address bar.

Step 2: Now, you will see 3 folders with group names as introduced above. Open the folder in which you want to remove the extension.
Step 3: From inside the folder, delete the items that need to be deleted by right-clicking on it and selecting Delete . Remember not to delete the entire .
Step 4: All you need to do now is restart File Explorer according to the instructions in this article.
When you reopen the WinX menu, you will see that the deleted items are no longer visible.
How to add applications to the WinX menu in Windows 10
If you have deleted one or more items from the WinX menu, you can always restore them.
Step 1: Download the entire WinX folder attached below.

Step 2: Unzip the downloaded zip file, you will have the default WinX folder with 3 groups.
Step 3: Now select File >> Open new window , to open another File Manager window .
Step 4: In the new window, return to the path.

Step 5: Copy 3 folders from the downloaded file (select all 3 folders >> Copy ).
Step 6: In the new File Explorer window, right-click in the empty space and select Paste to paste.
Step 7: Select all 3 Replace the file in the destination lines that appear on the screen.
Step 8: Now restart File Explorer for the changes to take effect.
You can check if the full menu has been restored by pressing the Windows + X keyboard shortcut .
