Basic chicken farming in Minecraft

Build a basic chicken page

1. Earn enough wood to make 16 fences.
2. Dig 1 5x5 deep hole
3. Place the fence around the edges
4. Place a pop-up block in the middle

The surrounding fence forms a barrier and nothing can step out of it. Placing a block in the middle of the farm is meant to get you up and jumping out easily, but the chicken doesn't.

This design makes it possible for chickens to come in from any direction, but are unable to get out.

Add chickens to the farm

To get chicken, you can apply the following:

Use eggs

Each chicken will lay an average egg after 7 minutes, where there are wild chickens you will see a lot of eggs. Collect about 20 fruits to get started.

Right click to throw eggs on the farm. Eggs will socks, and 1 chicken will hatch every eight eggs.

Example of chicken

Build an advanced chicken farm

Prepare

Build

Place the sign on one side of the hole.

Build a barrier around the chicken farm.

Pour 4 buckets of water into the 4 corners of the chicken farm.

Water flows towards the center but it will not flow down because of the blocking sign.

Then, you set up slabs (slab) so you can climb out of the farm but chickens do not.

Place a chest below to contain chicken eggs.

Place the funnel on top of the chest, to avoid opening the chest, hold Shift to bend down and right click to place the funnel.

At the end, use the method of throwing eggs or example of seeds to have chickens inside the farm. The chickens will lay their eggs and the eggs will automatically go into the funnel and fall into the chest, they won't disappear as usual anymore.
