Genshin Impact: Common mistakes to avoid for new gamers in 2022

At the present time, Genshin Impact is only inferior in age compared to senior games, but in terms of reputation and achievements, it is absolutely not inferior. Before this attraction, many gamers have come and started to experience this game.

However, the beginning is never easy, so newbies in Genshin Impact often make the following silly mistakes.

Always use food for recovery

Using food for recovery is advisable when the player is in battle. However, in normal times it is best to use other recovery sources to avoid taking too much time for processing.

If you are a new gamer, consider using 'Statue of the Seven' to recover. It will heal anyone nearby or use the 'Statue's Blessing' option. Over time, 'Statue of the Seven' heals will also increase, so you don't have to worry about wasting it.

Make sure to turn on 'Auto-recover when nearby' and select 100% for easy monitoring. Alternatively, the player can use a healer to heal themselves (such as Barbara's Elemental Skill).

Hold the Sprint button

This is one of the most common mistakes that beginners make in Genshin Impact. Holding down the Sprint button is great in other games when the character has a slow acceleration. However, characters in Genshin Impact have a fast dash speed before reducing their sprint speed.

So it's best to try and keep pressing the Sprint button. Beginners will have longer distances this way and always use it whenever possible. 

Always jump when climbing

Having the ability to jump in multiple directions while climbing can be helpful in this game. However, it costs the player a sizable portion of their stamina, and overusing it will cause them to fall or have to waste food to recharge their stamina.

Accordingly, simply holding down a button in the direction the user wants to go can be more effective in the long run, especially when there are plans to scale up in the mountains. Beginners need to be nimble about when to press the jump command while climbing.

If you are unlucky enough to endure, you will not be able to glide. Naturally, this can lead to a character fainting.

Summon on standard banner and weapon

Beginners looking for new characters should try scrolling on one of the limited time character banners rather than the standard banner (Wanderlust Invitation). Likewise, weapon banners are more useful when gamers have all the characters they need.

At the beginning of the game, the Traveler will not have many characters. Therefore, summoning to get more weapons will consume all of the Primordial Stones while not having many new characters.

Limited time character banners are a better early investment. It can give the user a 5-star character not found in Wanderlust Invocation. Additionally, all 5-star characters in Wanderlust Invocation can appear under limited-time character banners.

Try to level up every character at once

Genshin Impact has a great cast of characters full of adorable faces. However, it won't work for beginners as they use all their resources trying to maximize every character at once. It's better to focus on a portable DPS unit early in the game and then divide it among four characters to form a team.

Trying to get materials to level up each character quickly consumes time, especially since they only need four characters for a team. Some Ascension materials are also hard to find for beginners, so they need to use them wisely.

In addition, some characters can still perform a valuable role even if they are low level. For example, Amber can still be used to light torches even at Level 1.
