Information about HP laptops using CULV and Intel Core i7 CPUs with dv8, dm1, dm3 code is being discussed on international technology sites .

In particular, the replacement model of Pavilion dv8 will be equipped with new Core i7 processor, besides 4 GB RAM, 640 GB HDD (2 x 320 GB) and Blu-ray optical drive. According to some information from the Dutch website, the price of Core i7 Pavilion dv8 is about 1,427 euros, equivalent to VND 36.7 million.

At the same time, HP also revealed information about its first CULV laptop with the Pavilion dm1 and Pavilion dm3 codes. It may be an alternative to the unsuccessful Pavilion DV2 model that uses the 1.2 GHz AMD Athlon Neo CPU. Pavilion dm1 has the expected configuration including 2 GB RAM, 320 GB HDD. The 13.3-inch Pavilion dm3 is equipped with 4 GB RAM and a 500 GB HDD. The price of both models is higher than netbook, Pavilion dm1 is about 690 USD (12.4 million VND) and Pavilion dm3 - 970 USD (17.4 million VND).

In addition, according to the HP computer launch roadmap revealed in Notebookcheck, HP Voodoo will have an Envy 15 version that has a dramatic improvement in speed compared to its launch in 2008. A model HP's new netbook is also available soon, the name is expected to be Compaq Mini 311c with an 11.6-inch screen. The standard configuration of this machine is 1.6 GHz Intel Atom CPU, 1 GB RAM, 160 GB HDD but uses NVIDIA Ion LE graphics platform and 6 cell battery. Estimated price is 479 USD (8.6 million VND).

These products may appear next month when the Windows 7 operating system is officially distributed.
