Summary of last year network security situation, representative of Vietnam Information Security Association (VNISA) said, considering the heat on the mass media, 2014, the relative security situation of the network peaceful. However, at the end of the year, there was a direct attack on the enterprise. Compared to previous attacks, the attack on VCCorp is more daring, stronger.

Even when the security agency investigated, the attacks still occurred. That shows the level of danger in attacks on businesses today. Also in 2014, there were many attacks on websites of units and organizations."These attacks seem to be related to the issue of conflict over the islands' sovereignty," Thanh said.

Information Security Association published survey results to assess the status of information security in Vietnam in 2014. The survey was conducted with 745 organizations and enterprises. The results show that up to 81% of organizations and businesses allow employees to use mobile phones, personal tablets in the network of organizations and businesses.

This poses risks of unsafe. Many businesses admit that they are unable to record the network being attacked. The number of organizations and units with information security regulations accounts for only one third. Investment in information security is still low (45% of organizations invest less than 5% while the recommended number is 10% of total investment in IT systems). These will be major limitations when organizations and businesses face cyber attacks, especially in the context of increasingly daring and sophisticated attacks.

Experts say that attacks in 2015 could be targeted at organizations and individuals to get data. Allowing the use of smartphones and tablets in the network of enterprises and organizations will increase and be difficult to manage. The national key information system can become a target if there is a conflict.
