Dell has just released a "patch" for the Mini 10 netbook, which is reportedly "more valuable" called Mini 10v. It has a starting price of $ 299, which is considered a competitor to the Acer Aspire One for $ 349.

At $ 299, the Mini 10v configuration will include an Intel Atom N270 processor, 1 GB of RAM and 120 GB of memory. Machine equipped with 3 cell battery, running on Windows XP operating system.

The price is good, but the new netbook only changes the Intel Atom Z520 and Z530 processors to N270 compared to the previous Mini 10. In addition, an interesting detail is that users can switch from XP operating system to Linux Ubuntu, but the price is equal.

Currently on the market, HP netbooks, Acer brand, priced from 350 to 399 USD are equipped with 160 GB hard drive, 6 cell battery. Dell's new netbook also upgraded to a total of $ 354.

According to Dell's sales website, Mini 10v will appear on the market from June 2.
