Dell and HP computers all 'stick' to Nvidia chip errors

HP said it will soon launch a BIOS upgrade software and provide detailed instructions to help users detect the 'symptoms' of a laptop with a faulty Nvidia chip.

HP's information came shortly after Dell also released bad news regarding Nvidia chips, Dell's Vostro, XPS models, and Inspiron. Dell has released upgraded BIOS software for faulty chips to control the temperature of the graphics card to avoid explosion. However, Dell does not have a new graphics card replacement program, so users are very worried about this danger.

Despite acknowledging this incident, Nvidia still believes that its level of influence is not widespread. Nvidia said it will provide a new version driver (driver) for faster cooling fan cooling, reducing 'heat stress' on the chip. This driver has been delivered directly to laptop manufacturers. Nvidia plans to spend about $ 150 million to $ 200 million to fix the problem.
