Dahua introduces a pair of surveillance cameras that reduce false alarms

The product is equipped with both fixed lens and PT pan-tilt lens, which helps to minimize false alarms.

Dahua Technology has just introduced the latest products of the wireless camera line (Wi-Fi camera), including: Hero Dual D1 (indoor) and Picoo Dual D1 (outdoor). The products are equipped with both fixed lenses and PT 6MP (3MP + 3MP for each lens) and 10MP (5MP + 5MP for each lens) lenses, helping to detect people and pets (Hero Dual D1) or vehicles (for Picoo Dual D1), thereby minimizing false alarms.

In addition, with the support of PT lens, the camera is also capable of automatically tracking moving targets. The camera also activates sound and light warnings when detecting intrusion, sending notifications to the user's mobile device.

With built-in infrared and warm light LED, the camera can switch to 3 light modes to suit the scene, including: Infrared mode (infrared light will work when the environment is not bright enough), Warm light mode (records color video and records event details with warm light LED), smart mode (warm light LED is activated when detecting an object).

According to the manufacturer, the camera's PT lens can be controlled via the DMSS app, allowing for 350-degree up/down rotation; while the fixed lens can be manually adjusted up/down 15 degrees, allowing simultaneous monitoring of two different areas with just one camera.

In addition, through the DMSS application, users can actively communicate two-way. In case of emergency, the Hero Dual D1 indoor camera series will help users call a pre-installed mobile device with a built-in button on the camera body.
