Asus demonstrates WirelessHD technology

Asus G73JW is capable of transmitting 1080p high-definition video signals to TVHD with a distance of up to 30 meters through an included receiver.

Introduced right from the beginning of Computex 2010 but until today, Asus has just demonstrated the technology of wireless high-definition video playback to TVHDs of two models of ROG G53 and G73JW. While the G73JW has been notified of this feature in advance, the introduction of the G53 specifications a few days ago did not mention WirelessHD support.

Basically, 60GHz WirelessHD technology using SiBEAM chip can perform similar to what Intel WiDi technology can do. Asus G73JW has a 17.3-inch screen.

This model is capable of transmitting high definition video signals to TVHD .
