Assassin sharks ripped huge squid in death

The last moments of the death battle between giant ink nearly 5m long and killer shark was witnessed by a diver and recorded. This is the first time we have the opportunity to witness the attack of one of the scariest monsters in the ocean at such a close distance.

In the video, the killer shark is thought to belong to the black shark shark that bites and rips the squid's giant body floating in the middle of the water. Apparently, after a horrific death battle, the loser - the 4.6m long giant squid had to die and become a meal for sharks.

Two divers Al McGlashan and Justin Lewis were fortunate to record these moments when encountering these two ferocious monsters in Australian waters while recording for Big Fish, Small Boats.
