Acer launched the Chromebook C720 for only $ 249

Acer C720 is equipped with the Celwellon Celeron chip, SSD and sold for only $ 249.

Not long after HP launched a cheap Chromebook 11 , Acer also unveiled another model called the C720 for even less than the HP model, for only $ 249.

The C720 is equipped with the Haswell Celeron 2955U chip, instead of using ARM chips such as Chromebook 11, making the machine's performance better. Acer promises to have an 8.5-hour battery life. In addition, Acer also equipped with SSD - the lowest level of 16GB makes the machine boot and resume super fast. Acer said it only takes 7 seconds to boot, and resume is almost instantaneous.

C720 uses 4 GB DDR3L memory, while connections include WiFi a / b / g / n, HDMI port, 1 USB 3.0 port, USB 2.0 port, SD card reader. Stereo and microphone speakers are also equipped; while the 11.6-inch screen of the machine has a resolution of 1366x768 pixels equipped with anti-glare coating to observe under the sun better.

Acer said the C720 is only 1.9 cm thick and weighs 1.25 kg but still has a full-size keyboard. The device starts at $ 249 and Acer says A720 will have different configuration versions.
