What does the 'super slow' 7680fps movie recording feature on the Mate 30 Pro do?
Huawei has launched the high-end flagship smartphone Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro with many new and improved features. One of the most striking features on this duo is the ability to shoot super slow-motion videos at unbelievable frame rates, 7,680 fps. Meanwhile, this video recording speed on the Galaxy Note 10+ is 960 fps and on the iPhone 11 Pro Max is only 240 fps.
So with a whopping 7,680 fps, what can Huawei's new flagship do?
First, you need to know that the video resolution will be reduced to only HD when using "super slow" 7680 fps. Meanwhile, the resolution will be increased to FullHD at 960fps and at 60fps, the resolution can be customized to 4K.
Thanks to the addition of a 40MP "Camera Cine" camera, the Mate 30 Pro is capable of recording 7,680 fps videos. At 7,680 frames per second, when recording a video for only 1 second you will have a slow-motion video that is longer than 2 minutes.
