Enchant Relics are single-use items that apply a random enchantment to a fishing rod in Roblox Fisch. You can catch one while fishing in any body of water or, after reaching level 30, buy one from Merlin on Sunstone Island. Fishing in The Depths is the most useful farming option because luck can improve relic catches there; named ponds elsewhere are not confirmed to have a special relic rate.
Fisch changes often, so check the item description and current in-game price before spending currency. Favorite a relic as soon as you obtain it so a bulk sell does not remove it by mistake.
Best ways to get an Enchant Relic
| Method | Requirement | Best use |
|---|---|---|
| Fish in any location | Any usable rod | Passive chance while completing the Bestiary or earning C$ |
| Fish in The Depths | Access to The Depths | Focused farming because luck can affect relic catches there |
| Buy from Merlin | Level 30 and enough C$ | Reliable access when you value time over currency |
| Codes or events | An active developer reward | Occasional bonus, not a dependable farming plan |
Catch Enchant Relics while fishing
An Enchant Relic is a regionless catch, which means it can appear in any fishing area. There is no need to move between ordinary locations solely to improve the base chance. Instead, choose water where the other catches also help your current goal: money, experience, a quest, or Bestiary progress.

Watch for a greenish-cyan or cyan exclamation indicator and a different reeling feel. Once the relic is in your inventory, lock or favorite it. Relics are useful enough that selling one accidentally is usually more costly than the fish caught during the same session.
Why The Depths is the best dedicated location

The Depths is the exception to the “fish anywhere” rule of thumb. In this area, Enchant Relics behave more like normal fish and can benefit from luck, so a strong rod, suitable bait, and a luck-boosting event can make a focused session more productive. It is still random; no location guarantees a relic.
If The Depths is not yet available, do not stall your progression to chase relics. Continue earning C$, levels, and better rods elsewhere, then return when the area and your equipment are ready.
Ancient Isle Pond and Roslit Bay

Players do catch relics at Ancient Isle Pond, including the central pond near the Merchant, but this does not prove that the pond has a higher base rate. It is a reasonable place to fish when you also need Ancient Isle catches.

The same applies to the Nurse Shark areas near Roslit Bay. Use them when their normal fish fit your goals, not because anecdotes guarantee better relic odds. A good farming spot is one that still rewards you when the rare item does not appear.
Buy Enchant Relics from Merlin
After reaching level 30, visit Merlin in his hut on Sunstone Island. He has historically sold regular Enchant Relics for 11,000 C$ each, with bulk options appearing in newer versions. Confirm the displayed price before buying because game economies can be rebalanced.
Buying is the predictable route: farm profitable fish, keep a reserve for travel and rod upgrades, then purchase only as many relics as you can afford to reroll. Do not drain your entire balance for an early rod you will replace soon.
How to enchant a fishing rod
Enchanting takes place at the Keepers Altar below the Statue of Sovereignty, between Moosewood and Sunstone Island.
- Equip the exact fishing rod you want to enchant.
- Hold the Enchant Relic in your hands.
- Travel to the Statue of Sovereignty and enter the mineshaft.
- Talk to Cole and pay for an elevator token. The standard single trip has historically cost 400 C$; check the current prompt.
- Ride down to the Keepers Altar and wait until night. A Sundial Totem can advance the time if you have one.
- Stand on the circular altar and interact. The relic is consumed and a random compatible enchantment is applied to the equipped rod.
A new regular enchant replaces the previous regular roll; it does not stack another primary effect. Read the rod after every attempt before spending another relic.
Save relics for a rod worth keeping
A relic has more value on a mid- or late-game rod than on a Flimsy, Plastic, or other starter rod. Before rolling, ask whether the enchant fixes a real weakness: lure speed, resilience, luck, progress speed, experience gain, or earning potential.
Some special rods and puzzles also require relics, so keep a small reserve instead of using every one for rerolls. For an example of matching an enchant to a rod's weak stats, see the Santa's Miracle Rod guide.
Regular and special relics are different
- Enchant Relic: rolls from the standard enchantment pool.
- Exalted Relic: uses a separate exalted pool; it is not simply a stronger regular relic.
- Cosmic Relic: can add a secondary enchant under the current system.
- Sovereign Relic: belongs to a later, more complex Keeperbound system.
Check the exact item name before interacting with the altar. If you are following an older guide, its enchant list or percentages may no longer match the current patch.
Are trading, codes, and events reliable?
Codes and seasonal events sometimes award relics or currency, but they expire and should be treated as bonuses. Verify codes through the developer's current community channels rather than a stale list.
Avoid trust-based item exchanges that require one player to hand over valuables first. If the game does not provide a protected trade window for the exchange you want, there is no reliable way to reverse a scam. Fishing and Merlin are slower but safer and repeatable.
Efficient relic routine
- Favorite every relic immediately.
- Fish in The Depths when you can benefit from luck; otherwise combine relic hunting with another objective.
- Use Merlin when the cost is smaller than the time you would spend farming randomly.
- Keep enough C$ for the altar trip and normal progression.
- Enchant only a rod you expect to use for a while, and stop rerolling when the result solves the rod's main weakness.
