iPhone 12 not only has a change in flat bezel, but also has many notable differences compared to the Pro version.

The first difference lies in the significantly thinner screen border, making the iPhone 12 no longer clearly different from the 12 Pro. Regarding the frame, the iPhone 12 uses rough aluminum, creating a more interesting grip compared to the glossy steel edges of the Pro series.

In addition, on the front, Apple applies a series of new ceramic-coated glass materials, helping to increase impact resistance up to 4 times compared to before. The body is also made thinner than the iPhone 11.

The iPhone 12's OLED screen has a resolution of 1170 x 2532, equivalent to the 12 Pro model. Although it does not support a 120Hz refresh rate, the screen is still bright at 1200 nits, supports HDR, improving display quality compared to the iPhone 11.

The most important change in the camera is not in the sensor but in the main camera aperture, increased from f/1.8 to f/1.6. However, the bigger improvement in image quality comes from the A14 processor and Apple's image processing algorithms.

Similar to the 12 Pro, all cameras on the iPhone 12 have night mode, including the front camera. The new algorithm also focuses on low-light photography and HDR. Although low-light portrait photography on the iPhone 12 is slightly better than the iPhone 11, the camera quality is still enough to meet the photography needs of most users.

With the A14 Bionic processor and iOS operating system, performance on the iPhone 12 series is not a problem. Although there is sometimes no obvious difference between the iPhone 11 and the A13, the performance is still stable and strong.

The battery capacity of the iPhone 12 is about 10% lower than the iPhone 11, but with a larger screen, the usage time is still guaranteed.
