The film is the journey of Eren Jaeger and two best friends since childhood, Mikasa Ackerman and Armin Arlert. The Eldians on the island of Paradis have been attacked by their own compatriots from across the ocean all these years.

Marley plotted to invade Paradis in order to use the resources on Paradis Island to develop the military and take the power of the Titans. Tensions escalated between the two sides, Eldia and Marley both tried to race to gain the upper hand in the upcoming battle.

Meanwhile, Eren's comrades began to realize he was on a controversial path. After escaping from prison with the help of the Jaeger faction and Eldia liberators, Eren began to engage in actions to call and manipulate many soldiers on the island. Eren's half-brother Zeke was also imprisoned and killed by Levi after turning all of the sentinels into Titans.
