How to delete or reduce the download of the WinSxS folder
In Service Pack 1 (SP1) update for Windows 7, specifically updated with code 976932 , Microsoft added the WinSxS download feature to the Disk Cleanup tool. With Windows 8, users do not need to download.
After downloading and installing, press the Win + R key combination to call the Run dialog box and type the "cleanmgr" command to call the Windows Disk Cleanup feature.
In the Disk Cleanup interface, click "Clean up system files".
Next Windows will re-scan the system and display information about WinSxS with the name "Windows Update Cleanup" . Now click on it and click OK.
