I must say that the camera market has changed a bit in the last 3 years. Mirrorless cameras are taking steps to replace DSLRs, both in terms of new design and features, so is there any room in the 90D release? 

Basically, Canon's latest DSLR products still satisfy people, at least for those who love traditional cameras. Like previous models, this 90D also has a rounded shape, easy to use and the price is quite pleasant for amateur photographers.

It is equipped with a high-resolution 32.5 MP APS-C CMOS sensor along with a host of attractive features such as 10fps shooting speed, improved autofocus system and long battery life.

Theoretically, this is a good DSLR.

The basic 90D is quite similar to the 80D brother. If we put the two devices side by side, it would be very difficult for us to find a difference. However, the design improvements of the 90D lie on the inside. In addition to the large resolution (80D with only 24MP sensor), 90D is also equipped with the latest Digic 8 chip, providing a greatly improved speed. With the 90D, you can take full 4K quality pictures (some Canon cameras when shooting in 4K quality, the image is cropped), speed up to 10 fps (compared to the speed of 7fps on 80D). ISO range stretches to 25,600 (expandable to 51,200).

The 45-point autofocus system remains the same as on the 80D and improves the measurement system, better face recognition, and adds functions like Intelligent Tracking and Recognition Autofocus (iTR AF).

The size of the machine leaves a fairly generous area for the function buttons and dials, stretching from the top to the back like traditional Canon. The LCD screen can be flipped over and has enough room to display the main settings. 

It also has many semi-automatic and manual shooting functions, fully automatic shooting modes for beginners.

Most of the buttons on the 90D are on the right hand side, very convenient if you want to access certain settings. You can choose super-fast focus points with the joystick, which is a new function added on the 90D.

While the electronic viewfinder has made huge improvements over the years, many people still love the optical viewfinder, which gives a more realistic feel than the electronic viewfinder. The 90D viewfinder, like any other optical viewfinder, is bright but can't adjust the settings yourself.

3 inch touch screen, can rotate 360 ​​degrees. You can zoom directly on the screen when taking pictures or when viewing images.

You cannot select autofocus points while in the viewfinder mode, but this function will return when you turn on Live View or switch to video recording mode.

The 90D will have a total of 45 vertical autofocus points, but if you take a picture through the viewfinder, all of these points will almost gather in the middle of the frame, which is very normal on DSLR devices. You can switch to Live View and use the screen to select the desired focus point on the frame if needed.

Time to take and lock focus 90D quite fast, but also depends on environmental conditions and ambient light. Basically, the performance of 90D is at an acceptable level.

Battery life is probably one thing DSLRs definitely beat mirrorless. The 90D easily works all day long on a single charge.

The high-resolution image sensor will have to trade with optical image stabilization. Any slight movement can blur the image, so if you want to take a sharp picture, use it with a tripod or a gimbal.

In low light conditions, the 90D still produces good image quality at ISO 3200. Starting at ISO 6400, photos show signs of noise and lose a lot of detail. In general, for best results, shoot at ISO 100 to 400, in RAW format.

If you love to film, in a miraculous way, the 90D is not a bad choice, especially if you already have Canon's EF / EF-S lens system. The 4K quality footage is not cropped, has a microphone and headphone connection that makes the 90D suddenly a strong competitor in the field of gentle shooting.
