Redmi K30 5G Racing Edition launched: First smartphone with Snapdragon 768G chip
Immediately after Qualcomm announced the new Snapdragon 768G chip yesterday, Xiaomi also immediately launched the new Redmi K30 5G version of Racing Edition (the name is translated from Chinese) and this will be the first smartphone. The world's first is equipped with Snapdragon 768G chip.

With the new Snapdragon 768G chip, Qualcomm claims it will bring improved performance both in terms of CPU and graphics GPU, including raising the CPU clock speed to 2.8GHz and Adreno 620 GPU performance up to 15% compared to with previous generation Snapdragon 765G.
The Snapdragon 768G chip itself also has a built-in Snapdragon X52 modem, so the Redmi K30 5G Racing Edition will also support 5G mobile network with independent and non-independent dual band.

On the Redmi K30 5G new version, the device has an identical design to the standard Redmi K30 version and the 5G version that was launched late last year. Users will still have a complete design from glossy plastic material, vertical camera cluster placed in a circular module on the back, this version has a 5G logo just below the camera. In terms of specifications, the device has 4 main cameras with a resolution of 64MP + 8MP + 5MP + 2MP similar to Redmi K30 5G.
Redmi K30 5G Racing Edition has a 6.67-inch IPS LCD screen on the front, Full HD + resolution with a 20: 9 aspect ratio. This screen has a "mole" design with a 20MP + 2MP dual selfie camera cluster, along with a 120Hz refresh rate.
In terms of hardware configuration, as mentioned above, the device is equipped with Snapdragon 768G chip, comes with 5GB RAM and 128GB ROM. The battery has a capacity of 4500mAh, supports 30W fast charging, does not support wireless charging.
Redmi K30 5G Racing Edition will be sold in China for 1999 yuan, or 6.5 million dong. This is essentially an upgraded version of the CPU and GPU of the previous 5G version only.
