OPPO Watch launched: Design similar to Apple Watch, supports eSIM, VOOC fast charging, price from 5 million
At the launch event of the new product held this afternoon, OPPO has officially launched the OPPO Watch, the first smartwatch of OPPO that marks OPPO's step into the smart wearable market.
In terms of design, many people will probably realize that the Oppo Watch has a similar appearance and design to the Apple Watch, also has a square watch face with buttons on the side. The OPPO Watch is equipped with an 1.91 inch AMOLED screen. This screen, according to OPPO, claims an extremely large pixel density of up to 326ppi and fully supports 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. This screen is also curved to the side so that users can swipe more comfortably.
The OPPO Watch's frame is made from metal and water resistant to a depth of 50m. The smartwatch also has a stainless steel frame version. The device uses rubber strap and has many colors for users to choose.
At the launch, OPPO said the OPPO Watch is the first smartwatch in the Chinese market to be equipped with motion analysis AI algorithms (CISS and GoMore). This algorithm will automatically customize the appropriate exercise program based on the fitness condition of the wearer. Not only monitoring heart rate and sleep, OPPO Watch also provides optimal support for female users when it is possible to track and manage the menstrual cycle as well as the pregnancy cycle.
All versions of OPPO Watch support eSIM, which allows the device to make calls independently without having to connect to the phone. In terms of configuration, OPPO Watch is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2500 chip combined with low-power Apollo3 microcontroller.
In smart use mode (features are constantly enabled), the OPPO Watch has a battery life of about 40 hours, while in basic usage mode, the device can last up to 21 days without charging. Not to mention, OPPO Watch is also equipped with VOOC fast charging technology that brings down the smartphone models, with the ability to charge from 1% to 50% in just 17 minutes.
In terms of price, OPPO Watch will start from 1499 yuan, equivalent to 5 million for the 41mm version with 3 color options: black, rose gold and silver. The 46mm version with black and gold versions will cost a higher price of 1999 yuan, equivalent to 6.7 million VND. 2499 yuan, equivalent to 8.4 million.
